Tamara Marcelain

Tamara Marcelain is the College & Career Readiness Counselor. Tamara earned her MA from the University of New Mexico in Counseling. Before joining EMHS in 2019, she was a School Counselor for nine years at New Mexico Connections Academy, Rio Rancho HS and Hogares/APS Mental Health in the Schools. Tamara is also a Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor. She has worked in private practice for nine years. Tamara has four children and has lived in the East Mountains for 17 years. Her interests include spending time with her family and friends over leisurely meals, going to her kids’ sporting events, working out with Betty Rocker, playing board games and traveling (or watching Rick Steves and dreaming of traveling).
