Tamara Marcelain

Tamara also manages the school’s dual credit program. Tamara earned her MA from the University of New Mexico in Counseling. Before joining EMHS in 2019, she was a School Counselor at New Mexico Connections Academy, Rio Rancho HS and Hogares/APS Mental Health in the Schools. Tamara is also a Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor. She has worked in private practice for ten years. Tamara has one daughter and three sons. Her oldest son is currenlty a senior at EMHS! She has lived in the East Mountains for 18 years. Her interests include spending time with her family and friends over leisurely meals, going to her kids’ sporting events, working out, playing board games and traveling (or watching Rick Steves and dreaming of traveling)
