Kasio Giovenco

Athletic Director

Kasi holds a BS in Physical Education and is certified in Special Education, Health and Reading Intervention from Towson University in Baltimore, Maryland. Before coming to East Mountain, Kasi taught in the Moriarty Edgewood School District in the Severe and Profound classroom at Route 66 Elementary. Prior to her teaching at MESD, Kasi taught at MAS Charter School in Albuquerque, as their PE teacher, Athletics Director, and Reading Intervention teacher. For the past 8 years, Kasi has been the Varsity Volleyball Coach and recently just stepped into the role of Athletic Director in the 2020-2021 school year. She is excited to bring focus to the incredible student athletes at East Mountain. She currently lives in Edgewood with her husband Chris and their two crazy kiddos Gibson, 4, and Raegan 3. In her spare time, Kasi loves going to concerts, playing sports, and traveling back home to the East Coast to visit her family..
