East Mountain High School offers support to assist students with health, learning, or personal challenges they may be facing. Our dedicated staff includes a health assistant, a school social worker, college and career counselors, a gifted education coordinator, and a special education coordinator. We believe that all students can be successful in a college preparatory school with the right support.
EMHS utilizes an Early Warning System (EWS) to identify and support students with attendance, behavior, and course performance concerns.
Families concerned about their student’s success in school and hoping to discuss options for additional support should contact Dean of Students Bird Podzemny at 505-281-7400 x. 407 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Families should also note that tutoring is available. Please refer to the tutoring page in the Academics section of this website.
“The teachers at EMHS are part of what makes EMHS such as successful high school. They genuinely care about the students and get to know you throughout high school.”Student, Class of 2017
