Registration/Packet Pick-Up: 7:00am – 7:45am
Fee: $30 or $20 for under 12
Run/Walk START: 8:00am
Includes: Fee for both runners and walkers includes a t-shirt, post-race refreshment and door prizes.
Awards: Top male & female overall. Top 3 male & female in youth (0-17), open (18-40), masters (40+) age divisions plus many door prizes randomly given at awards ceremony.
The run will be held on the cross country course built by students in 2005. This event is unique in that it is not on paved roads, but a challenging trail giving runners a chance to experience a very different kind of 5K experience. The walk will be a 1.5 mile walk.
All proceeds from the event will go to support the athletics program at East Mountain High School. East Mountain is one of the few charter schools in New Mexico to offer a full athletics program, including soccer, cross country, bowling, basketball, golf, track & field, volleyball, softball and baseball. In just 14 years, the school has already won eight state championships. The funds raised will go towards equipment, uniforms and road trips.

If you would like the EMHS to distribute any coupons, brochures, or gifts from your business in the goody bags on the day of the race, materials must be hand delivered to EMHS by Fri 9/13/19. To have your logo included on race materials (including t-shirts), your logo must be turned in to EMHS before Fri 9/13/2019. In-kind donations accepted and acknowledged as above for retail value.
