The overriding responsibility of the Principal is to lead the school in achieving the goals of EMHS. The principal will do this by implementing policies and procedures that support the school’s vision, mission, goals, and objectives as stated in the EMHS Strategic Plan, Charter, and Performance Contract. Applicants must have a minimum of a Master’s degree plus a minimum of 5 years teaching experience with relevant administrative experience. Demonstrated success and longevity in a secondary school environment is strongly encouraged. A NM Administrative licensure or ability to attain a NM administrative license through reciprocity is a requirement for the position.
