EMHS Receives “A” from NMPED on School Grade Report Card

East Mountain High School is proud to announce that our school grade from the Public Education Department is an “A.”

Every year since the Public Education Department began issuing school grades, EMHS has received an “A.”

Initially, it was reported that EMHS had received a “B;” however, Principal Monique Siedschlag identified some reporting errors made by the PED, and the grade was changed.

Principal Monique Siedschlag noted, “The students and staff of East Mountain High School work incredibly hard. We take pride in being one of the top public schools in the state. When the report was first released, it was clear that some of our numbers were not reflected correctly. After working with individuals with PED, our “A” grade became official.
