EMHS Boasts Highest Graduation Rate in School History

At 93.4%, East Mountain High School is proud of receiving its highest graduation rate in the history of our school.

According to data released by the Public Education Department last week, the graduation rate for the Albuquerque Public Schools District was 67.9%. Manzano High School was at 75.8%, Moriarty High School was at 77.6%. The overall graduation rate for the entire state of New Mexico was 71%.

EMHS has made significant strides in working with students at all ability levels. By increasing the performance of all students, our graduation rates have increased and our overall school grade continues to be an “A.”

Principal Monique Siedschlag noted, “This achievement is the result of a true community effort. When parents, students and staff all work to the same end, amazing things are possible. I am very proud of our dedicated students and the staff who endeavor daily to meet the needs of all students.”
